Mike Macedonio

Mike Macedonio is the President and Partner of the Referral Institute. He helps entrepreneurs and sales professionals build their businesses through qualified referrals. Mike co-authored the book, Truth or Delusion, Busting Networking’s Biggest Myths, with Ivan Misner, which has hit several bestseller lists, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Amazon. He has also co-authored with Ivan Misner The World's Best Known Marketing Secret, Building Your Business by Referral.
Mike’s position within the Referral Institute began as a trainer in 2001. In 2003, Mike was hand selected to be the President of the Referral Institute. Since that time, Mike has led the Referral Institute from a handful of trainers to a franchised organization operating throughout North America, Australia, Asia, and Europe.
Mike gives back to his community by volunteering. He holds a position on the Board of Directors for LIFT, a non-profit project to combat teen obesity, and is on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit caring for abused or neglected big cats.
